Who should get a
- People who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
- People who have had close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) with someone confirmed to have COVID-19.
Because both flu and COVID-19 have similar symptoms, it may be hard to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone, and testing may be needed to help confirm a diagnosis.

If you do decide to get tested, you should self-quarantine/isolate at home pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional.
